Deposit Types and Mineralization Historical work at and near the Property was focused primarily on placer gold and gold bearing quartz veins. However, recent mapping, reverse circulation and diamond drilling performed by the Skygold Joint Venture on their adjacent Spanish Mountain Property, have revealed broad zones of gold mineralization not necessarily associated with abundant quartz veining , but instead with a bulk-tonnage sediment-hosted and sediment hosted vein style gold deposit(s) The geology, geochemistry and geophysics suggest that the Property may be similar to the adjacent Spanish Mountain Property held by Skygold Ventures Inc. Therefore, the principal focus of exploration within the Cedar Creek Property is to discover a sediment hosted bulk tonnage gold deposit(s) and/or high grade gold bearing quartz veins. Sediment Hosted Bulk Tonnage Type Deposits. These are the principal deposit types which are being successfully explored on the adjacent Skygold Spanish Mountain Property. On the Skygold property, in association with abundant pyrite, gold has been intersected in drillholes within intercalated metasediments consisting of argillite, siltstone and wacke (AR 26 210, Lustig and Darney, 2006). These deposit types host some of the largest gold dominated systems in the world called Sediment Hosted Vein (SHV) deposits |
