País del Elefante Project

Mexico is the world's second largest producer of silver. The País del Elefante Project, located 60 km SE of the state capital of Zacatecas, consists of over 10, 000 hectares of land located in Mexico's "Silver Belt". Over half the land package lies within 15 kms of the major Bilboa, San Nicholas and El Coronel deposits. With geology comparable to the San Nicholas deposit, the fourth largest VMS deposit in the world, and local areas of coincident geochemical and geophysical anomalies, the principle focus in this region is discovering a VMS deposit and/or a significant silver resource.
